The initial problem is that we had a lot of manual data in multiple tables but had no way of efficiently linking them all together to create relationships based on product, cycle times, equipment availability, performance and quality etc..

Zeki BI helped with the development phase of creating the relationships between the datasets in the back end of Power BI to harness the full potential of the data so I could make more sense of the information coming into the front end. We held regular weekly meetings to discuss user requirement specs and project deadlines to make sure the project was delivered in a timely manner. Zeki BI were very flexible with their time and were accommodating of any changes required. Their customer focus is a stand out trait and a valuable asset to any company looking to work with them.

Having worked with Zeki BI throughout the project I now have to ability to create my own custom reports for multiple areas of the business and I can now start to drill down towards top losses within the manufacturing facility in order to focus improvement activity around them. Following on from the Development work Zeki BI provided me with a professional and comprehensive training package which is suitable for all levels of knowledge, ranging from beginner to expert. Although the training was delivered over teams there was no compromise on the quality / professionalism throughout. The team are clearly experts in their field. The training package was extremely hands on from start to finish, we went through the journey of preparing the data model where relationships were created between different data sets and then learnt how to bring it all to life in the front end through high quality visuals and filters to represent the data in the best possible way.

The Zeki team provided our team with an excellent two-day intermediate Power BI course which provided a range of relevant and instantly applicable learnings. They were willing to cater this course to our specific needs and work with us to understand the root causes of the problems that we were facing – to provide us with the ability to solve them ourselves.

Our team consisted of intermediate-level Power BI users, who needed further guidance on how to use Power Query and DAX to structure data sets in a more logical and consistent way.

We provided several bespoke problems from the business, linked to indexing, use of date tables and data transformation and the Zeki team were able to produce solutions to all of these as part of the training. The learnings from this session have allowed several business-critical dashboard tools to be re-built in more robust and efficient ways.

With BI projects it’s rare to find consultants who can bring sharp understanding and clarity to user requirements, build solid and extensible data models and deliver insightful and clean visualisations and UIX. The Zeki team deliver all this and combine it with a committed drive to delight their customers.

In a recent engagement they delivered insightful reporting and data around development team utilisation, creating a data model, metrics, and a dashboard.

My experience with Zeki BI has been excellent! Haroon has been a wonderful mentor who always seems to understand the requirements and methods required for my projects usually faster than I do. The training courses that are provided are targeted based on the projects that you are trying to complete which means you can start producing meaningful reports for your business as soon as possible. The training materials and resources available are easy to understand whilst also challenging what you already know around the topic you are learning about.

You will learn how to transform your data into a form that will allow meaningful time intelligence analysis to be conducted down to individual product or vehicle level in a form that is easily consumable by end users. The level of detail that you can gain from data you already have that is being underutilized is astonishing. The Howorth Air Tech business is developing at a pace and the need for instant access to information in every aspect of life, let alone business, is so important.

For a variety of reasons our reporting systems have not developed at the pace we needed them to over several years. Consequently, we faced a situation where we had all the data we needed in our legacy SAGE system, but getting access to the information and turning it into the data we needed was a frustrating process. When we did get the data, it came in the form of a 100-column spreadsheet which was slow to produce, required excessive manual effort, was difficult to read, and problematic to share. The whole process meant delays to getting the vital information to manage the financial reporting for the business.

We knew we needed to improve the situation dramatically to enable us to make crucial business decisions in a timely manner, so we looked to invest in an ERP system believing that this was the only way to get to the information required. The whole process of selection of the system, the interrogation and amalgamation of existing companywide systems and the re-training of so many people across the company would cause massive disruption and cost to the business.

Fortunately, Zeki introduced a much quicker solution, Power BI, through which they created a reporting suite which works with our old Sage system and automatically pulls the data we need into visual reports built to our exact specification. This automated process has bought our team back precious time, and we are now actively using business intelligence to massively improve the efficiency of reporting allowing us to make many vital financial decisions in a much timelier manner.

There were obvious challenges as we progressed with our antiquated systems throwing up unforeseen issues but working closely with our Howorth team Haroon, Waleed and the Zeki team worked diligently throughout to ensure that they delivered a solution that could extract vital information from our legacy system and turn it into the timely intelligence that we needed to run the business more efficiently. It has given us capabilities that we thought would only be possible through an ERP system and I know that this new solution will prove to be transformational not just within the finance team but for the whole company. Our organisation is data-rich, but struggled to present our clients’ data back to them in a way which added value while maintaining security.

Zeki helped us to embed live analytics into our client platform, giving clients access in a secure environment. The project was well managed, and executed exactly as planned.

After evaluating multiple organizations, Turnkey recently engaged the team at Zeki BI to help us create a bespoke analytical solution that we could embed into our existing software as a service product (SaaS), Sustainion.

The challenge we faced was being able to provide a cohesive set of analytical data reports that were both intuitive and capable of allowing our clients to instantly evaluate potential ways of strategically improving their corporate performance using Sustainability metrics. while our award-winning product was collecting highly valuable data that could help our users improve their business, they were struggling to get all the value out of this data as the existing Sustainion reports were difficult to use, and they did not have that visually impactful feel we wanted to give our users.

Zeki BI essentially became our data team and quickly got a deep understanding of our business and our objectives. They worked collaboratively with us at every stage of the BI project, and handled everything from requirements analysis, data architecture, backend development, frontend design and even project management. The customer service was excellent, and the results have been excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend Zeki BI.

Since engaging with Zeki BI our SaaS product has enhanced the user experience, and we are now progressing towards more advanced and enhanced reporting requirements as a result. Aquascot is one of the UK’s major seafood processors with big ambitions to become the market leader by 2030. To achieve this ambitious goal, the organization must become a more data-driven business.

For this purpose, we were looking at engaging the services of expert/s who can help us assess the data architecture, assist in defining our data goals, and make recommendations on the future data platform, including creating a roadmap for future data-driven projects. We picked Zeki BI as a partner to work on this area.

Zeki BI is a team of data professionals where every member is an expert in his domain. The team helped us recognize that our priority was to better understand our current state of data, to define what our future state of data must look like, and to create a structured plan to get us from where we are now to where we need to get to.

They helped us to achieve this through a structured and comprehensive assessment process. It involved a thorough assessment of our current data estate, workshops to define our future business vision and how data and automation would enable us to achieve our objectives, and recommendations for the design, structure, and technology required for the future data architecture.

All activities/processes undertaken during the assessment resulted in a Technical Assessment Report. The report consisted of a comprehensive technical review of the Aquascot data estate and a strategy for digital transformation, including a phase-wise implementation plan for complete transformation.
